come up n hunt maine woods u really have to put some time in… u be lucky to see a boone n crocket ya whole life around here, might here aboutem or see a picture… theres been 6 taken in my back woods in the past 8 years… n i aint seenem ive had there tracks around my stands but i aint seen them… gotta unt 20 times at a stand to see one around here

by the way Mr. WinKe, What state do you live in that allows you an 11 buck limit? Here in Indiana There is a 1 Buck Limit. Maybe I Just Heard wrong.

i dont agree with the comments posted by sakugawa and camarogirl, but to each his own.hunting is a SPORT and a CHALLENGE no matter how you do it. sure some peple can afford better ground with more appealing food for their game, but it dosent make them any less of a hunter than anyone else. they should’nt be belittled just for their choise of hunting style. Look at it this way, Atleast their not POACHING!!

I agree completely. I don’t live in the mountains (Nebraska) but I’m sure that having expansive food plots, and planes to spot with (and in my experience, most REGULAR hunters can afford none of these) make it “quite the challenge”. Come on now, I don’t have a plane, no plots, no high fences, but I am still able to take decent deer. During actual hunts, where you sit in the woods (not acre upon acre of plots) and stalk your quarry. Yup, you guys are surely the true Great White Hunters.

not bad deer. doesnt seem like much of a challenge though with the huge food plots and easy ground to cover. not to mention motor vehicles. hell, youre hunting a deer thats lame, im sure that’ll be a REAL challenge. come to the mountains, boys. hike 5 miles up rock just to drag your buck another 5 miles back over it. THATS a hunt. good luck with your baiting.
