I used to guide in western Montana, if you want a great chance at huge white-tail and/or elk or mule deer go with Wayne Hill outfitters from Noxon, Montana, very reasonably priced hunt’s and his family has lived in that area all there lives….. dont pay some “ranch” in Texas $10,000 for a deer hunt. If you go during the “rut” you will see huge bucks running around all week., just choose the one you like. You will love the country too, great area!

real woods of pennsylvania?….yeah cuz there are so many trophy bucks in PA hahahah!

that is stupid hunting on a ranch where they are fenced in get out in the real woods of pennsylvania then you will know what it feels like to hunt

Just looked at their web sight and it says 1,500acres high fenced; and for 2008 they have 48 “trophy pics” thats 31.25 acres per trophy buck?

If you fingure in the “managements bucks” with the “trophy bucks” in 1,500acres of high fenced property you get 1 mature buck for every 18.29 acres!

I was impressed by the FreeRange hunting pics and they average 1 mature buck for every 333Acres…Which is about right for wild condition

Look at the ratios and call a spade a spade though

HA HA,sorry to break it to you,but shooting a record whitetail buck anymore is JUST A DREAM.

those are some pretty nice deeer cause we breed deer and have payed hunts and only a few of ours are bigger than those

All of my deer were taken from my own farm, and not fenced in. Still I don’t understand the neg. comments on what this place is offerring. It is a great opportunity for those who (choose) to hunt on private deer management ground to fullfill a dream of taking a monster buck. The place is large enough that the deer are wild. They are not in a small pen waiting for you to shoot them. The advantages you have are the deer hunting is managed by this company to ensure that there are high quantity.

Great place to hunt. Ever have a young deer cross a property line and get shot by another hunter? yea you probably shot it. Deer here are born here and know this forest like all deer. You are hunting in his back yard. The deer at tgr call this home. At least the deer get to live to mature and not get shot just because it is brown. For deer with lots of bone Hunt TGR…………….

…it could be an outfitter that merely owns or leases the land and has great sucess with their buisness…but i agree no fences…i wanna own a sucessful ranch when i get older but i dont want any fence.

Sorry guys, a canned hunt is a canned hunt. My cat runs from strangers too, dont make her wild or fair chase. If thats your thing, cool but when I finally take my wallhanger after all these years, itll be cause I earned it, not bought it. Besides, for what they probably charge I could hunt moose or elk.

Very awesome place. Went on a hunt there last November. Very awesome. I promise you, it is not what you think. I was not sure what to think about the high fences but I will tell you, It does not change things that much.. Great place and unreal staff..

well i tell u what u both make good points the deer being raised takes the thrill out of deer hunting but this type of hunt is for the city slickers who dont no anything about deer hunting and for the older group who cant get around very good in the timber and who cant stay in the stand for hours so this hunting has its good points and bad points

How tall are the fence? lol must be nice to have deer like this in one big pin! Im from Iowa and Idk we could shoot bucks with rifles? I might just have to ask the DNR about this one

What bulls*** are you talkin about? and how r the deer pretty much being sold to u, wild?! sure you get 1 deer with a nice rack, but that really means nothing, its not a great experience at all. And what r u talkin about all types of hunting? So hunting man raised animals is its own type now?!? wow, wut some ppl do these days. To actually shot a deer that is afraid of humans, and the challange of getting him is what most (normal) hunters prefer. Not the man made rubish.

I have hunted there. The deer are as wild as any other deer. They were born in a natural environment on a huge timbered ranch. I can also tell you the experience is fabulous. The majority of Timberghost properties are open range. I really don’t understand what man raised means. This place offers a great experience to every type of hunter. Hunters should stick together to promote all types of hunting and hunting experiences. Not just an individual preference.

who in their right mind would pay money to shoot deer that were man raised. Part of the whole experinece of deer hunting, is to be in the wild, and actually using skill to take 1 down.
