My factory Modified tube throws a deadly pattern at 35 yards with Kent Fasteel #2′s. They drop ducks and geese dead.

Yeah yeah. I **** steel shot, but most non toxic alternatives, like hevi shot, just cost too much. I’m gonna try a choke tube that will hold back the shot cup and gas this year. Maybe a patternmaster. I hope it helps. Everyone is going to the higher velocity shells now, but every one I’ve patterned, with different guns and choke tubes, are throwing out top heavy patterns with lots of strays.

I was thinking the same thing. I’ve had several that were even limp and retrieved to get up out of the pile and fly off. And anyone who hunts ducks has wounded one in the ass and watched fly off. Especially with steel.

You are obviously stupid or something. You don’t even have the correct terminology. They don’t spread out the “bbs”, you create a shot string. You obviously don’t hunt ducks if you have never seen a wounded one get away.

you cant just pick a spot on a duck and shoot it. shot guns spread the bb’s out. ive never seen a wounded duck fly away. they always just sit out there in the water swimin around.
