Hunting Fun

Someday. if I’m lucky. I would just like to see it. No need to hunt it.

syria would be a good place to visit specially if you are interested in history as many civilizations resided here from babylon to roman to early christianity ( some villages still talk the Aramic or christ language) to crauseders till the late islamic states and all had left thier own traces. in breif alot of ethnicities and history ……
for hunting it is illegal most times of the year.
but we can hunt in far mountains, but i am not as good as you in hunting

Our states classify animals as game and nongame in the hunting laws. “Game” is simply animals you can legally hunt. “Nongame” would be animals you can’t legally hunt. Quail, for example are game birds, but sparrows are nongame, since we don’t hunt them. Hopefully I will see Syria someday. Dave

but i couldn’t understand what do you mean “game birds”???
here in Syria it is colorful country you can find deserts ,woods, mountains wet lands and so we have a large divrsity of birds and animals
unforunatily i am now in arabian gulf UAE , here you can only have saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaands

Thanks. I will look them up. I have a book that covers game birds around the world. It will be interesting to check out Syria’s game birds. Jack and Seamus were quite a team. Seamus is dead. Jack is 13 and still hunting. In fact, Jack and I are hunting chukar and Hungarian partridge in Idaho right now–and Jack is still king!

Syria! I would like to hunt birds in Syria. I did not think you had this type of habitat. Very interesting. What game birds do you have? Thanks for writing!

Go to Mearns’ country! Mearns’ are in good supply and the Coronado National Forest (CNF) has been in good shape for a few years, so they are not as difficult to find as they used to be. Any of the CNF mountain ranges south of I-10 in Arizona hold good populations. All the old standby locations were good last year. Parker Canyon Lake area, Ruby Road, Huachuca Mountains, Canelo Hills, Gardener Canyon, etc. If you are on the Coronado and it looks like my video, there should be Mearns’.

where should i go to get into some mearns, want to get my shorthair into some
