Most hunters in Canada would rather consider themselves conservationists. We do kill for leisure but it serves a greater purpose to maintaining species levels and balance in the environment. So by hunting and killing the animals we are actually helping them. I know it sounds odd but with human expansion destroying the natural environment that nature’s balance established. Human intervention is required to maintain that balance at this time.

Hi danjack17 , here in Quebec Canada , the bears are getting to numberous and its getting dangerous to go in the woods withouth a gun … so we hunt it and let me tell you that its a great game to hunt ! lol have a nice day .

are bears a pest or feral or something? why do you hunt them?

here in aus we hunt rabbits and foxes and boars and roos but mainly because they are feral, except for the roos they are just pests!

some people also hunt feral animals. don’t forget that

Bears are almost blind … unless you dont move or make noise he’s not gonna see ya . Gotta be sure he does not smell you though.

Sitting in a stand, baiting the creature until he becomes a pet, then shooting it is not truly hunting. But at least he passed quickly. He knew you were there, you were wearing blue jeans for god sakes, he trusted you. Nice shot though.

Well bear meat is pretty good , it tastes like beef and it is really tender … and as what everybody thinks its not full of fat its even pretty lean .

I’m all up for hunting, but I always hunt things that I can skin and carve and cook and eat. If ever I go hunting I will shoot some targets and stuff and then when I am ready I will get one piece of game and that is it I kill to eat so PowerDomininon that Is why some people hunt. If your not gonna eat it don’t kill it is what I say.

my dad has a 303 british sniper rifle and he just bought me one they are awsome

i’ve got the same rifle and i dont know the exact effected range but i kno its alot… The feet per second for this rifle is approximately 2550fps, but depends on the ammo you use odviously.

Nice shot bud… Hey I was wondering if you can help me out.. I looked at a .303 rifle for sale here in PA. I liked it, and tried doing some research on it. I keep finding the .303 from like the WWI/WWII era, with the wood that goes all the way to the tip of the barrel. Yours doesn’t, and neither does the one I looked at. What’s the difference if any? What’s the range on a gun like that? thanks.
