Most of the birds they were carrying at the end were drakes, but they did blast a hen at the beginning that was clearly identifiable before they fired.

When hunting ducks you have a limit of 6 birds. no more than 2 can be mallard hens. but u can shoot that many.

not everywhere. in califonia you can shoot a limit of seven but only two hen mallards like you said.

Over shooting drakes is worse than shooting a few hens you know.

Even in slow motion, it’s really obvious you have a dog that isn’t steady to shot and breaks on the trigger pull. And you want to produce a video of this?
