This is our YouTube Channel… where we use video to demonstrate new thermal methods and technology never before seen by the public. Video is far more effective than words. Society believes what they see; not what they hear. You sound like a disrespectful, spoiled teenager demanding a special video just for you. Stop wasting our valuable time about a subject you know absolutely nothing about.

@pronster1- Just as I expected. You don’t have a clue about feral hog behavior or how to solve the problem in the United States. You have absolutely NO experience in this area and say “there might be better ways”. You only offer “round them up and take them away” or “build better fences” as your solution? Thanks for showing your complete ignorance of the situation. We are subject matter experts on this topic and kill over 1,000 hogs annually in Georgia. American farmers want results, not words.

Im not pointing my finger at the hog problem. But there might be better ways of doing it. Maybe round them up and take them away where they can be killed by people who know what there doing. Maybe you could try building better fences to keep them out. What Im pointing my finger at is you. Why do you need to show a video of the hogs been shot ? It would be much better if YOU stood in front of the video camers and Talked about the problem. All i see is a video of you killing.

@pronster1- What is YOUR solution to the United States’ feral hog problem? You are very good at pointing your finger from the U.K. and chastising our methods. But how good are you at actually solving the problem if “killing” is not an option? Bait contraception research is still 5+ years away and NO drug alternative is available either. There is NOT a way to avoid lethal control. So what is your solution? We will happily implement your method if it is more effective than ours. Let’s hear it.

@pronster1- No one is forcing you to watch our hog control videos. Change the channel if this bothers you so much. I write for several magazines, film annual television shows and have been a speaker at every wildlife damage management conference during the past four years. Other than television, YouTube is the best way to demonstrate our high volume hog control methods and technology. I doubt you have any experience with farming or you would understand why thermal hog control is necessary.

@pronster1- It is sickening to American farmers how these invasive species cause millions of dollars in crop damage annually in the United States. The population of feral hogs has exploded to over 5 million in recent years and they are presently found in 39 of our 50 states including Hawaii. Another threat is the transmission of pseudorabies and swine brucellosis to domestic hogs. Farmers want competent hunters who are committed to investing the time and resources needed to solve this problem.

wow kudos, guys. You have great trigger control. Have you tried the ambush method of sniping moving targets? I would place the reticle 10-15ft. in front of the moving target then engage when they run into the reticle. Much more accurate than leading (following target with the reticle). EDIT just read that some of you guys are ex-military, so you probably know this already. P.S. if you need some help, i’d love to make a trip up from florida with my AR-10

@Kyle- Farmers or landowners do not pay us to remove their hogs. Our income is received from guest hunters who book an experience with us just like any other professional outfitter. Hunters are paying to be part of our nightly hog control missions using the same technology our Soldiers are using in combat. We provide the methods and technology. Hunters are paying for the hog control experience using this thermal equipment. Our guides are retired Soldiers and very experienced at night operations.

Minimum wage.

Our guest hunters are issued a Browning BAR in .308 caliber. The recoil of the BAR is more appropriate for young hunters. Also, the five-round bullet capacity is much safer for all hunters who are inexperienced at night operations and moving targets.

Our guides are retired Soldiers and very experienced at night operations/moving targets. They carry a DPMS Panther™ LR-308L for back-up and large groups of hogs.

can you give me the specific specs of the rifle?

i wish i could afford this. so dang expensive though. 1.2k for 2 nights and thats the cheapest option. :/. god dang $20,000 scope rentals!

We are located in Georgia. Thermal hog control performed at night by a hunter is only legal in the states of Georgia and Texas. Most farmers and landowners will not pay you to remove their hogs. Our income is received from out-of-state hunters who pay to use our thermal optics and rifles as a member of our nightly hog control missions.

i would love for you to! but i cant spend that kind of money, if i had the capital to invest i would do something similar to what you have done in Alabama. i wouldn’t even know how to charge.

Thermal scopes cost $13,000 per unit and it takes four of them mounted on semi-automatic rifles to harvest 600-700 hogs per year. $600 will only buy you a Gen 1 night vision scope with no magnification which will only allow you to see 100 yards. Our only advice is to ensure the $600 unit has a 30 day return policy. It takes a Gen 3, (4X or 6X) high resolution scope with 24 signal to noise ratio to perform high volume night-time hog control. Let us set you up with some IR equipment which works.
