@sclerocarpets- Hunting hogs in Georgia with suppressors is not legal via the hunting regulation. Our staff has tested suppressors on feral hogs and it does NOT give the hunter any advantage. The hogs still run out of the field when a subsonic bullet impacts another hog. They won’t just stand there and let you shoot the entire group with a suppressor. They are very intelligent. Subsonic bullets shot through a suppressor are too slow to be effective and will not cycle a semi-automatic rifle.

@sclerocarpets What about the hogs that are like 100m away from the groups you fire with a surppressor?

@sclerocarpets- Hogs from the same sounder group rarely spread out 100 meters. Your “suppressor” success depends on how much hunting pressure the hogs have experienced at night. You might be successful the first time but any survivors will learn from the experience and adapt. Just watch a few videos from NightHogs’ Channel. They are shooting a suppressed rifle with a subsonic bullet and rarely kill more than one. We always kill multiples. Our method is more effective for hog control purposes.
