oh man 5 years ago, how do you thing the huntings lookin this year?

@spokelse0 We have to soot lead free at FHL and if I remember right my buddy had solid copper Barnes loads on this one.

That seemed to be a well placed shot.
How the heck could that hog get up and run like that? Unbelievable.
I’ve had Deer hit the deck and not even move.

@FischerOutdoors Yes, I was there over New Year’s. Most of the good areas were closed because is the elk hunts. No piggies taken from our group. One elk hunter got a pig.

we would go many trips without seeing a hog. have u been out there this year?

@emmy6423 shot was maybe 100 yards. I was in USAF and the guy shooting was never in military.

I’m checkin the tables, and I don’t see anything better than a 7mm Rem Mag 154 gr for long dist shootin

We had the rifles with us in the truck in case we saw a pig or coyote. We were glassing from a ridge listening for turkeys when we spotted the hogs.

Good shot. But why was someone carrying a 7mm if you were hunting turkeys?
