the mosin nagat uses a 7.62x54r kicks just like a 30-06

the mosin nagant dont use 30 06 shells it uses a size ortwo bigger than the 30 06

@horsesaremylife31899 well it’s just hard to get a buck tag. you have to draw for one. and if you dont get in the drawing then you dont hunt at all. but you can get up to 2 doe tags without any hassel.

308 dont kick at all you should try shooting a soviet mosin nagant its bigger than a 308 and has a stell but plate on it that thing will kick the **** out of you

As everyone is saying, Nice shot and good job. One of the first things to know about hunting however is knowing what the heck your shooting at. I don’t know what state you live in but in mine if your going for a buck you get a buck if not you could loose your hunting rights in a big hurry.
