i think it would be cool to introduce wolves into the population, let the wolves control the pigs, at the same time we could hunt both species

if it’s tasty then it’s hunting

The hog’s are a big problem in many States,this is a fact.But dont let the animal suffer when you can see it still move.Bullet’s are NOT that expensive.
Put it out of it’s pain man!!

A feral sow can breed every 6 months with litters ranging from 6-10. Now, consider that at least half of the estimated 2 million hogs in Tx. are sows, we aren’t going to slow the population at all unless we start taking out the main source of the problem.
These overgrown cockroaches are causing an estimated 51.7 million dollars a year in property damage, they’ve got to be stopped and letting a sow run off to have more babies won’t do it.

know: The sow has 1 time in the year young. If it is missing, will
the young on 25 kg fit – count you out how many descendants it
in the same year to become. That hunt from old saw is the wrong
way. They regulate the population.

In Tx. if you don’t do something to stop the problem, you’re part of said problem! We’re having peoples’ yards, millions of acres of cropland, and even golf courses destroyed by this infestation, so don’t try to pull some “I’m morally superior” bullshit on someone half a world away.

I know we have a hog problem here in texas but using a feeder still seems cheap.

Using feeders in any hunt is not hunting and never will be.

Has anyone used Barnes X bullets on the hogs? Do they work well?

Great shots. Normally it’s really hard to shoot more than 1 as the adult hogs run off immediately. If it bothers viewers when some 1 kills a Sal or piglet. They need to look up “The Pig Bomb” Documentary. It’s now on you tube. The problem is getting so bad on our S. Texas lease that the hogs are coming out in broad day light when we are re-filling our feeders.

I don’t mind preserving animals, but when they are dangerous… and pigs? Save the pigs? Nah. This is war! He conserved ammunition. In this case I believe either way is right

I was gonna ask why harvest a prego sow, and pigglets. But I dint know that Texas has a hog infestation, rat like even!? I wanna go down and get myself a hog!
