I love seeing the dogs get hit! People who “hunt” with dogs are cowards, they make the dog do all the work.

It’s a fact that pigs are more intelligent than dogs. Funny how people will view pigs as mindless yet dogs as intelligent. Hunting for food is fine, but I **** people who hunt for fun.

@timi1342 I hunt as a food source not fun. It feeds my dogs my family and loved ones. Why hunt the pigs in NZ. Pigs were introduced to NZ in the 1700s, and destroy large amounts of native habitat, and surface dwelling native animals. They eat vast amounts of food that the native insects, and animals miss out on. many of which are endangered species. 9 of ten north island kiwi chicks die before they are 1yr old there are approx 40 pigs per sq kilometer of NZ bush, more people need to cull pigs.

@rainnovice93 Speaking for myself, dogs hold them, a knife is used and the kill is definite, and quick, With excellent equipment, and a good operator, pigs often survive initial impact of a round. Even with high powered tools 2 shots are often needed to ensure lights out. If i have clear target, the dogs remain in position, and a shot is made. NZ bush is dense and offers lots of cover reducing clean shots. If the pig gets away wounded with no dog to lock it, the poor pig will die a painful death

@rainnovice93 Dogs hunt naturally, u take them hunting they love it. They’re back doing what nature intended for them, hunting and killing for food. They work as a pack and back each other up when they get wounded. Sadly they get hurt just like in the wild. If you ever hunt with them, see the life in their eyes, their courage you would understand, in that moment they are free. Not locked in yards, feeding on unhealthy processed foods, restrained in Paris Hiltons carry bag, that is cruel.
