it is not really that bad, but depends mostly on how you hold the weapon, if you hold it tight it has less room to to move and the kick will only shake you a little, but if you don’t hold it tight into your shoulder it will bruise you. it also depends on what load you’re using and what you’re used to shooting, the heavier the bullet the harder it pushes back on you. if you only shoot small caliber rounds like .22s or .223s it will be much greater than that, but it is nothing to be afraid of.

Nice Shot! I live in NY and they passed rifles in the southern zone 2 years ago, and I still haven’t switched to rifle. I still use my Winchester 1300 Pump with new Hornaday Glugs, dead on at 150 yrds!
