Man that JOE dog works hard! Very nice! But as much as he likes to hold on to hogs, I’d have to put a vest on him….

boys round here usually mix dogs 3/4 american bulldog 1/4 bloodhound for their main dogs and they use walkers and other hounds too. the mix usually comes out like a bulldog with longer legs and a better nose with ears half between bulldog and hound length. i live over on the northeast side of NC

We dont like dogs thats gritty they get cut to much and insted of a feed bill u get a $800 or more vet bill we like our dogs to stand back an bay not take them out on there first hog run in there an catch a 200lbs or more with 3 inch teeth and get there throat cut or there guts cut out but thats just the way we hunt if youll have a dog that will stand back an bay youll have a lot less vet bills.

Well as a hog hunter myself with all things being what they are giving the benefit of the doubt on what “puppy” means to each of us the dogs didn’t look that bad but I think unless that was there first I could have lightened my feed bill! LOL If it wasn’t for the training then some one should be ashamed for not getting in there an legging that hog? Now that JOE dog he is a keeper a very gritty darn good looking dog he knew how to keep a hog busy.
