I like the idea of sprinkling feed around a crate of TNT, and a remote detonator. As you can guess, I am not a big fan of hogs.

@CharlieDoan I actually bought a mosin nagant 42 version(91/30) and it does very well up to 300 yards for pigs, tho I gotta say, if you shoot farther then that they are not overly effective. Happy hunting my friend!

you dont shoot with dogs around, they get hit, bullet ricochet threw pigs and end up killing your dog

U guys in Russia ..Why not get Moisin Nagant M-1944 (short one) to hunt wild hog like this, much safer than to run with empty hand to a MONSTER
Moisin Nagant 7.62x54R will do the work + .45 side arm hunting dogs (less work for the dogs and safer for you + dogs) TT-33 ect.
That is my opinions because we hunt Vietnamese wild hog . We used M1 Carbine .30 very small less power round to the HOG but we shoot them behind the ear after chased them with the dogs. Some size of the hog look scary!!

@soccerxxdemon Yeah most people, including me and my huntign buddies, we allways make sure to carry atleast one pistol. You just never know what could happen, anything from a skunk to actually having to put a dog down.
