i don’t think it’s 5 degrees, because i live in the north states and when it’s 15 degrees you can’t wear a light jacket like him let it alone no gloves. but good entertaining video.

what do you make your arrow shafts out of? cane? where do you get that? i need help making arrows. how do you straighten them? is there anything else you do to make the arrow?

You never missed. The arrow would have struck her back. She jumped the string ducked, clearly. Your mistake was letting her look. Shoot them right away no looking. You need to become more brutal. I know it sounds aweful but the plain truth is it is more fair to the animal. By becoming more brutal you lose feeling for the animal for that brief moment gain focus. Then later the compassion comes. Remember in real time you may have failed at life. Dad prefered a Model 94 for a reason.

nice to see a video like this on here. I wish I would have filmed my primitive hunts. Maybe in the future I will. If you can edit out the portion of you calling yourself a “freakin idiot” and the head punch, that would improve it overall. You are not a freakin idiot. Many people respect what youre doing and your “failure” is something all hunters can relate to.It make you human and helps your viewers connect. Why be perfect in the eyes of others? Then you’d have to live up to that. Nobody can.

I enjoy your videos and share your same philosophy, but you need practice. When I hunt in the cold with a long bow I wear thin gloves and on my right hand I have the three fingertips cut off. Try it, see if it works for you.

@PrimitiveByNature arrow kick ***** to from plastic fletching..if it was feathers it would fly just fine,way more flex..this happens alot with plastic vanes..the old hand made primitive arrows fly better than modern carbon fiber plastic bullshit.i make hazel and viburnum,and they shoot great even with a modern compound bow.at 70LB draw.i use goose or turkey feathers as far as bow woods elm yew and osage are the best,but are hard to find,and expensive.have a good day

pretty cool…my only negative comment was that i didn’t like that you cut down a couple young trees though. usually when I build a hunting blind and require green foliage for camo, i take limbs off of trees v. cutting whole saplings. it affords the tree a chance to live and create more camo for the future! great vid! good luck in future hunts

those trees were so young, why would you do that?
