@NorthernFirehawk Actually chances are if he would have gotten in position to shoot this deer again it likely would have ran. May have never found it. Which is worse. Anyway we would all love to see a deer drop in its tracks every time we hit but it doesn’t happen. I bow and rifle hunt and have never had a deer drop in its track with either. But the shortest distance ran has been with a bow. Crazy part is I had a deer run 300 yds with his heart laying on the ground where I shot him with a rifle.

both humans and animals have hunted for millions of years since the begining of time. so deal with it, its a part of life, it keeps the world alive by keeping a corect amount of
