If you’re going to make something like this, you should make sure you use pressure rated pipes and stay away from combustible powders (for safety reasons). You might want to check out Spudfiles for inspiration.

Wow, that;s sweet. That’s basically a shotgun made out of water pipes… awesome. At one point I also had in mind to make an o/u 12 GA shotgun out of water pipes/door hinges and everything else you can get at Home Depot, but oh well.

I might post a video on how I made this one, but that could take a while since our editor is down.
I made it out of steel pipe; the chamber is made with 3/4 inch pipe, and I have a schrader valve connected to it to pump in air. That whole rig is connected by a 3/4 to 1/2 inch reducer to the ball valve (if you’re going to make one, explore valves a bit; ball valves are kind of slow), through a 1/2 inch barrel. I’d probably have to get a video up to explain more thoroughly.
