@theonlybuster If you were spotted with it by any law enforcement officer, you would have more trouble than you would with most other airsoft guns. That was simply my point. But yes if you were to carry it properly you’d have no problems, but you forget about those who are careless in this matter, in which case then they’d deserve it anyways.

Yes sawd-off real steel shotguns are illegal, but this is airsoft. If we had the same thinking and reasoning as the real steel counter-parts, airsoft guns would not function on full auto or three-round burst.

On top of that airsoft weapons should be transported in the proper gun bags to avoid “mistakes”, as any responsible airsoft player should be doing anyway.

@theonlybuster I’m not saying you are wrong, but for this particular model it is exceptionally dangerous to remove the orange tip because sawn-off shotguns are illegal. I mean of course youd then just show them it was just an airsoft gun, but you’d still draw more attention to yourself than necessary.

@BigDome989 People like to play airsoft for a reason. Some people prefer to be able to use guns they buy for something other than shooting targets. Also, apparently, you’re calling quite a few people who are/were police officers in the military *******. Great job. Hmm, what’s next? There are private airsoft fields, no need to go “running around with a sawed off shotgun” in public. I can’t think of anyone stupid enough to go running around with something that looks exactly like a gun in public.

@airshitfuker Again incorrect. This is a common misconception. The California Bill is geared towards the sale. In short the brightly colored bodies will only be required for the sale as well as there will be a tax added to the sale of the weapon. Once purchased you can paint the gun black or give it a black body.
The reason online stores are pushing this so hard is because they’ll have to obtain a license to sale airsoft weapons as well as the tax. I agree with the license, but not the tax
