Yeah I gave Gary a rev about that. It’s an old story from 2009 but it brought back some good memories. Funny you say that about getting lost. The wallow I got those good stag vids from was discovered when I got bushed because the GPS went on the fritz in low cloud and couldn’t find North. Would never have went there otherwise so i call it lost Tony’s wallow LOL. Cheers, mate and I look forward the next quality instalment.

Thanks for sharing with us Joe. Some great pics. You’ve got a great eye for scenery as well as the trophy shots. A good example of a bloke who respects the bush and the animals he hunts.

@1gubug Brisbane. I’ve been looking into getting my r-lic however I’m a bit concerned about the forests being overhunted/wankers abusing their privilege of having public land to hunt on (heard some bad stories). I’ll probably do it anyway though. How viable is door knocking? If I was a property owner I’d be very cautious about letting people from the city onto my land to hunt.

@sathvelos where are you based? Have you tried knocking on doors to seek permission? If you’re in NSW then you’ll need to join a hunting org (like the Australian deer association) get your R-Lic, if Vic get your game lic you’ll have access to hundreds of thousands of acres of bush to hunt.

Not every trophy in this collection is mine but sharing a few of them with the boys gives me as much joy as it does taking them myself. Also just incase anyone was wondering, all deer taken in this complitaion are 100% wild none of them are on ‘paid’ hunts, that’s the trophy in it for me.
