@WildHogHunters yah i used to love trapping coons when i was younger but its not as fun anymore

@TheCsfish3 They’re usually pretty easy to spotlight. Most times they’ll just look at the light until the shooting starts.

@WildHogHunters yea i get that, i was just saying in general, iam not trying to be sarcastic, you can try to inhibit the sound all you want but like you said the projectile is still supersonic, so there is always going to be the ***** once its in flight, all the videos i watched with supressed 22-250′s is from an outfitting group in new zealand, thats all the hunt with are supressed rifles, so i was just giving that as an example

@TheCsfish3 Other than trapping them or shooting them I don’t know of any other way of getting rid of them. I don’t know if you could bow hunt them there at night or not. We had to start doing something, they are just eating an unreal amount of corn.

@1gamoguy a suppressed 22-250 is going to sound pretty much like a .223. For the most part the muzzle blast is completely muffled and all that you’re hearing is the sonic ***** of the bullet in flight. If you listen closely on the video you can hear the sonic ***** and then the sound of the bullet impact. The fact that I’m sitting in an enclosed blind and also using professional camera equipment with a sensitive mic also makes a difference.

i have the same prob with coons eating all of my corn under my deer feeder how do i keep them away i cant hunt them at night ive trapped a bunch of them but it seem like i kill one 3 more come and now i think they have got smart enough to keep out of my trap. so do u have any idea how to keep them away from my feeder with out scaring the deer off?

@WildHogHunters well that is true, i guess it was my own ignorance because other vids ive watched on youtube are in new zealand using 22-250′s or 22′s supressed and they are quite, first time ive watched a vid with a 223 supressed

@1gamoguy Suppressors don’t really work like they do on TV unless you’re using subsonic ammo. With standard ammo you’ll get down to about the range of a .22lr.

damn that AR was still quite loud, i was supprised, and what state do you live in? i didnt know that some states allowed you to hunt never mind have a supressor on your firearm unless you were an FFL dealer and had all the permits for it, even then it was only legal to shoot at the range, but then again i live in NY and we are the thrid worst state for anti gun puppets
