I bought my 590A1 about six years ago. It has been a pleasure owning it. It’s big, intimidating, and on one occasion, just the sound of the gun being racked was enough to scare a prowler straight out of my neighborhood. Great shotgun for the money!

If you set a gun on a table will it move? No? Well guns don’t kill people, People kill people.People die in cars everyday, should we ban cars? And if a baby dies by a gun that usually means the gun was stored right or someone (PEOPLE) killed the baby.

When I first got into the firearms market, my first step was a good combat shotgun. Either the 870 or the 590. Doing my own research through forums and sifting through reviews I couldnt make heads or tails of the two guns. When I found these videos, nearly two years ago, I managed to decide on the 590A1. After two years of happy ownership, I would just like to say, thanks for cutting out the elitist crap and giving us what we need to know. Thanks for the great vids.

Two thumbs up for this review. The 870 is my choice it has a certain kind of cool that I dig. Two thumbs up for the 590a1. I love the stock ghost ring sights. 100 yard slug shots center mass and 50 yard head shots with slugs both standing on a standard silhouette. The out of the box stock LOP is a bit to long for me I am 5’8 205. The houge 12 LOP is a nice and reasonably priced upgrade for me.

You might consider doing a review of a Maverick 88. It’s like a 500 only without the tang safety and a different fore end. I bring it up because if you shop around you can get them for well under $200 brand new. I’ve seen them for $100 new in some shops. My brother has had his for over 10 years now and after countless rounds of buck shot it still works just fine (Even if the action kinda sucks). It’s the definition of value.

Hey, nutnfancy, what kind of mount did put use on a shotgun to mount the Maelstrom G5? Referring to you “4Sevens Maelstrom G5: “Surefire Killer” by Nutnfancy” video.

slugs are good to shoot but the rounds i keep in my mossberg are Polyshok rounds. They are rounds only law enforcement can get.
