@jeejay98 you need to know that by squeezing the lever and keeping the barrel from opening while you keep it squeezed you can pull the trigger and release the hammer slowly bu releasing slowly the lever that acts as the loader for the hammer. so after shooting you dont need to dry fire it and it saves on the hammer spring as you release the hammer and it better that way. my 2 cents

Nessal83, great review. I picked up a youth model after seeing your excellent post. I would add a couple of comments to your original post. The hammer cock/break barrel is fairly tense and may be a problem for younger shooters (relevant to youth model). The internal hammer can be released safely by holding the cocking mechanism half way and squeezing trigger as noted in the manual. The trigger guard on this gun is made of some high quality plastic rather than metal. (Nicer than on Handi/NEF).

@jeejay98 Glad I could help! It’s definitely a great gun for $100. I brought it out a few times to the range and no problems hammering clays all day. The only thing that I would say to watch out for is the recoil. The gun is pretty light so you get much more recoil. So if you are training for you daughter, I would say to look out for that. Other than that, I feel that the bead sight could be improved by changing it out to one with better contrast. For $100, you can’t go wrong.

Great review. I was thinking at first to get one but I can’t have a real nice review by others other than pictures. This video made me to decide buy them as a training shotgun for my daughter, niece and nephews. I won’t be bitter if it get detroyed or ruined along the way. Buds have them for $85.

@TheWitnesserer Yeah the ejector is pretty strong…at least on mine it is. I don’t have another one to compare it to. I don’t think I’ll actually be using it much since I save the shells for reloading. But it’s a nice feature to have.

That’s a pretty strong ejector. I think I’m getting the gun today if only for your review. Might even get both the 12 and 20 gauge versions.

if the white dot thing is showing, just assume its loaded since you dont know

@maxwell07261990 No problem. I haven’t taken it out yet even though I said I would in my video. Some last minute family stuff came up for this holiday season but I’ll try to bring it out next weekend and show you guys how it will perform. I’m pretty confident that it will be a shooter.
