Oct. 15, 2011 – Jon Lodden shoots a nice 4×2 6pt. buck with Mike Ketelaar filming. They had an exciting morning sitting on the ground with a bow. They saw a couple really nice bucks, saw 2 bucks sparring and a buck making a scrape. The buck Jon shot walked within 5 yards of them then spooked and ran to 20 yards, that is when Jon made the shot. Hunting Red deer in New Zealand in Whirinaki national park. In early 2000 we would sell every part of the deer like skin,hart,lung,liver kidneys,peezel ,hoofs and meat.A big spiker like this when gutted will be about 75 to 95 kgand so you have to pace yourself on a slow and constant walk.

November 6, 2011 Michigan bow season: Mike Ketelaar shoots a nice 8pt in Ionia, Michigan with Jon Lodden filming. The buck only ran about 50 yards before crashing. This is the first buck down on film for 2011 between Jon and Mike, and their first buck taken on film ever.
