First time I have tried an HRC test. This is the ‘started’ or beginner test. Handlers are allowed to hold their dog until sent, but I chose not to on this particular test. This was a bit different for me as the gunner is right next to you, as opposed to being out by the bird. Also, you have to sit on a bucket which I was not used to.
