April 30, 2010, the men of 242 Outdoors set out for an afternoon turkey hunt. We set up in some pines just to call for a little while when 2 long beards sounded off a few hundred yards away. We had probably 15 gobblers around us this morning and 2 along with 3 jakes decided to split from the group and checo out the decoys……and watch to see what happens next.

Nice turkey hunt out back behind farmer Joe’s turned ugly when a lady down the street didn’t like the sound of gun shots. She called the cops and the farmer/landowner (shown in video) tried telling the officer that the boys had permission, but he didn’t want to hear it. Check out the site for more of our clips.. I’m not posting this video to show the greatest turkey hunt ever or to portray new york’s finest in a bad way, i just thought it was hilarious and wanted to share it with some others who might enjoy as well.
